Bio

My name is Cindy Blanco and I've lived in Salem, Oregon for the past 15 years. Before that I lived in Pittsburgh, Kansas a tiny little town of about 10,000 people. When I was 8 my Dad was offered a job and we bought a school bus for the move to Oregon. We took out all the seats, loaded up all our belongings, cats, you name it and drove to Oregon! The trip was a great adventure I will always remember. When we got to Oregon I was disappointed because I missed the sunshine we left behind in Kansas. Over time I have come to appreciate the rain because it gives us the beautiful green landscape. When I was 17 I met my high school sweetheart at a school dance and it was love at first sight. When I was twenty we tied the knot! After high school I attended Chemeketa Community College and when I graduated I transferred to Western Oregon University where I got a Bachelor's Degree in Education. My major was PE and my minor was Health Education. I love going to school and plan on never stopping if at all possible. My hobbies are fishing, going to any sporting event, playing basketball and softball, hiking, training my two jack russel's, watching movies, going to plays and museums, and traveling.
